I’ve taught Kindergarten ESL up to 12th grade AP Literature, and every aspect of reading and writing in between. I’m currently an instructional coach for K-12 teachers in a blended learning school, sharing best practices and resources with my teachers. In addition to instructional coaching, I also develop curriculum and assessments for Harmony Public Schools, where I previously worked as a curriculum writer, instructional coach, and teacher.

My areas of expertise are STEM, Ed Tech, Standards-based instructional materials, and Standards-based assessments. I share my standards-aligned resources on TeachersPayTeachers (profile: Christine Layton).

I am also a published author of a variety of short stories and nonfiction articles for Mad Scientist Journal, Daily Science Fiction, and Cracked.com. I write for education and for fun!
