I am a writer, editor, and curriculum designer with 8 years of freelance experience and 6 years of teaching experience, as well as a Masters Degree in Education. I taught English/Language Arts, History, and Drama for grades 9-12. As a curriculum designer or editor, I have worked on projects for K-12 and adult learners/professional development for teachers, and I have worked on materials for classroom use, digital distribution, and online learning. Clients have included Pearson, the National Academy Foundation, Boundless Learning, the Walt Disney Family Museum, and many other clients. Several of my projects have delved deeply into Common Core ELA standards, technology integration, and STEAM (STEM + arts) programs. I also have a strong background in working with students from disadvantaged environments and a passion for challenging gifted/advanced learners.
