I am a former elementary-middle-school ELA teacher with Pre-K through 8th Grade teaching experience. After five years of teaching, I moved into educational publishing as an Associate Editor for (now defunct) Steck-Vaughn. I was impressed with the company’s history of creating supplemental materials for struggling students. In 2007, I started working as an ELA Assessment Writer for Compass Learning. Since then, I have freelanced as an assessment writer, correlater, passage finder, et al. I’m interested in moving into educational marketing, and hope to gain exposure with it via this website.
