We are looking for EXPERIENCED ONLY US history school market writers. 3-4 writers to write student workbook pages for a a Grade 8 U.S History workbook (Colonies to Reconstruction) for TN. Total pages are 160. New pages approx. 60% (100pp) but will be able to pick up and modify some pages from already existing GA or VA workbooks, 40% (60pp),

Writers will need to provide sources for new content so as to allow us to fact check. Content picked up for existing pages will not require sources unless new ideas are introduced. Writers will spec art and map directions. Each of the pages will correlate to TN standards.

Student pages are not copy-heavy but rather a combination of a relatively short amount of text followed by one or more activities. Writing style should be student-friendly rather than scholarly. Activity types include, but are not limited to, map skills, writing prompts, and a variety of comprehension checks.
